About Me

I am excited about starting my sixth year teaching at Lexington High School.  I am the Freshman and Sophomore English teacher as well as the Spanish teacher.  I direct the musicals and drama productions at the high school. I love working and training with LHS students!!! I am a native of Central Illinois.
I am a graduate of the University of Illinois (Go, ILLINI!). I also attended the Universidad de Granada in Granada, Spain which was a phenomenal learning experience I hope to share with my Spanish students.  I love the culture, history, literature, and politics of both American/English and Spanish-speaking countries, so the opportunity to work in Lexington as an English and Spanish teacher is perfect for me! I have a Masters Degree in Curriculum, Technology, and Educational Reform (CTER) from the U of I.
